A little olive oil. 4 minutes in microwave. BUT I listen, that is the key. Somewhere about 3 1/2 minutes, the popping slows down. As soon as I hear less than a few pops aver 2-3 seconds, I turn off the microwave. Then I add seasonings as per creative spirit. Start with some onion powder, paprika, salt, and ... Perfect popcorn. Every time! |

| Answer: | When I've used this I only put in popcorn with no oils or butter so to me it comes out of the popper tasting like plain popcorn with no flavor, not "microwave" flavor or movie theater, just plain popcorn. What you add to it after makes the flavor. Doing it that way all that is necessary to clean the popper is wiping it out of the small pieces of husk. I really like this item but you won't get "movie theater" popcorn without popping in messy oil which is probably not a good idea with this type popper. |

| Answer: | I replaced my air popper with this after I had popcorn at a friends house who had one. It makes the popcorn more tender & not as dried out as an air popper tends to do :). You have to figure out how much you like to put in the bottom & microwave timing but after a few attempts you’ll figure out the perfect amount & time! |
