Answer:	Eddie, leather is alive and it breathes. Which means that water or perspiration can pass through it and eventually after about eight hours of break in time it will conform to your foot. That is the advantage of leather footwear over synthetics however it does get darker when it’s wet and eventually as it dries will lighten back up. Think of it like a baseball glove, the more you wear it ,the more you will enjoy it.

Answer:	P5, H5, R5 etc. are labels given to a group of sizes in the same pattern envelope. For example, it might say "H5 (6-8-10-12-14)" or "R5 (14-16-18-20-22)". So they are not sizes as such. Answer:	I think they’re padded pretty good with pretty thick soles. My son runs a lot and he loves them and says they’re comfortable. But he’s in jr high and he grows out of them faster than they wear out. I say for the price they’re worth trying. But for a grown man that won’t grow out of them, you may want to look into some inserts for your shoes. In some cases it might not be the shoes you’re buying but lack of proper support in your problem areas. My chiropractor set me up with inserts made for supporting my feet in the areas I need. I feel my shoes don’t wear out as fast and it’s helped in other areas as well. Good luck
