Answer:	It does come with stakes. They are round and of good quality. MSR offers a better stake that can be purchased separately.

Answer:	The poles themselves are aluminum, but the tips are a hard plastic. It looks as if they could be replaced if necessary but I'm not sure how one would get damaged short of a dog chewing on it. They seem very durable.I have an Elixir 2 and the Elixir 3. They weigh about the same and pack down almost the same. The 2 doesn't save you much just in case you're on the fence over which size to get. For a few more ounces you get more interior space. I got the smaller one because I can pitch in in a smaller area when I'm in an area without good tent spots.
Question:	Does it come with a lid, or are you able to find the lid separately
Answer:	Its not to bad size wise, but is huge for a 3 person backpacking tent, a little more weight than I would have liked but no regrets roomy and easy to put together

Answer:	The 4508 uses a different kind of stainless steel that is magnetic, therefore it can be used with induction ranges and stovetops. If you don't have or plan to get an induction range, go with the cheaper version. However, induction is becoming more popular and those who have it seem to love it, so think long term.

Answer:	The top lip of the pot is rolled so the outside edge to edge measurement is 11 1/4 inches. The interior wall to wall measure is 10 1/2 inches. The bottom diameter of the pot is approximately 9 1/2 inches before the flat bottom begins to curve up to become the sides. For this pot I usually use the 11 inch "circle" on my induction stovetop but the 8 1/4 circle works just fine also.

Answer:	Mine did not come with a canning rack, just the pan and a lid. Mine has an inner depth ( measured from bottom inside of pan to top of side) of 9 and 1/2 inches. The diameter of the inside bottom part of the pan is 12 inches and the diameter at the top of the pan ( from inside edge to opposite inside edge) is 12 and 5/8 inches. The bottom of my pan is nice and flat and should work fine on the top of a glass top cook stove. I’ve never used mine for canning, just making root beer and very large quantities of food. Good quality. The outside bottom of the pan has “platinum grade stainless steel” written on it.

Answer:	No. Both the rain fly and the tent use the same support poles. The tent snaps onto the supporting poles from the tent’s exterior side, and it has a horizontal crossmember that spans the top to give it structure, which the rain fly ties into when it lays over the top of the tent. In this design, tent must be erected before the rain fly goes over the top. I do not personally see this as a deficiency, once the whole assembly is up, The tent stays dry in driving rain and winds, and the gutter system that is part of the rain fly zipper keeps the rain off you when going in and out of the tent.

Answer:	Yes; twist the lid properly on the pegs, and it will lock to drain.

Answer:	The 18/10, 18/8 refers to the chromium and nickel content of the material. These numbers indicate the 304 grade of stainless. The 18 is the percentage of chromium and the 8 is the amount of nickel in the metal, by percentage. The 10 indicates 10%. There has to be a minimum of 50% iron and no more than 0.8% carbon. The nickel adds strength, with 8% being slightly less durable than the 10%. There are other elements that go into the making of stainless steel. This pot has an aluminum core with the stainless being built around that. The aluminum allows for better heat transfer. I will go out on a limb here. Without being able to contact Farberware, I believe the pot has the 18/8 because the manufacturer did not state the actual percentage. I have had my pot for almost a year. It could not be any better unless I had two of them. It has served me very well. John

Answer:	I wouldn't bank on it. If you want to minimize pregnancy stretch marks, go with a specific product for that. Stretch marks are just that, marks from stretching of the skin. This lotion is good for dry skin. You need a product for repairing or preventing loss of elasticity.
