User questions & answers
Question: | Where are they made |
Answer: | Go to a quality shoe store and measure your feet using the old style Brannock Device. Use the Brannock measurements to purchase the boots. Using running shoe sizes will likely cause you to order boots that are way too large. My actual shoe size is 9 on Brannock. My size hasn't changed in 45 years using Brannock. However, I have to order 10-1/2 US for Asic Running shoes and most other running shoes. Running shoe manufacturers likely do this so they can show a lighter weight for a given shoe size. |
Question: | Where are they made |
Answer: | Are you referring to shaft height or to shaft circumference? Shaft height is different from shaft circumference. My advice is to google it that way you can apply the answer to your question. |
Question: | can you resole these boots |
Answer: | My feet are a size 9 using the standard Brannock shoe size measuring device. I ordered and got Lucchese size 9's. They fit just right. So if your feet measure Size 12 on a Brannock, order 12's. |
Question: | What is the height of the heel |
Answer: | Yes these are Made in Texas, USA. |

The Lucchese story starts in 1880 when Sam Lucchese Sr. and his brothers came to America. He was just 17 years old at the time, but Lucchese knew he wanted to be a boot maker. Just three years later, the Lucchese Boot Company was born in San Antonio, Texas. In 1960 the founder’s grandson and namesake took over the family business and decided to rethink the art of boot-making. Sam Lucchese Jr.’s fascination and understanding of the human foot inspired him to create a boot design that fit like no other. Although Lucchese’s exclusive boot last design required more skill and time, the result was a boot that quickly gained national recognition for its extraordinary comfort, quality and fit. Every Lucchese boot is hand inspected twice. In virtually every procedure during the production on a Lucchese boot, human hands are relied upon to complete the task to near-perfection. Every inch of a Lucchese boot is made of the finest grade of leathers. Slip your foot into a Lucchese and experience comfort you never thought possible.
