Answer:	I think this depends on your preference for fit. I prefer a bit of looseness in my outer clothing. I normally wear a Large for shirts and sweaters, but with these I returned them for XL so I can wear them over other layers. I'm 5'9" and 177. If I were you I'd be doing the XXL.

Answer:	I wondered the same thing. Mine also has openings on the side of the interior pockets. I have used it to hold a phone charger and put the cable through the hole to attach to phone in holder. Other than that I could see no use for the holes

Answer:	It’s very soft and comfy. In really cold weather such as the single digit temperatures we are currently enduring, I use it as an added inner layer under a light weight winter jacket.

Answer:	Don't put fleece in dryer to prevent it from balling and piling. The hot dryer and also hot water ruins fleece. Hang dry fleece and then if it still needs to be softened put it in dryer for 5 minutes max. Use only half a dryer sheet because they leave a coating so using only half the sheet will make it less likely to coat fleece with the dryer sheet residue.

Answer:	I’m 5’5” 183lbs and an XL fits great. I wear long underwear and the jacket and I’m comfortable in 6 degree weather.

Answer:	Been using it at 5°C (41°F) and it holds up just fine, as long as you're moving. Remember that the black cloth is lycra, so it's breathable and not exactly cold resistant.

Answer:	I live in Georgia so I have no experience with snow. It does keep me dry in the rain. If you plan to use this in snow country I would recommend you go at least two sizes up as it is a snug fit.

Answer:	I use mine at work. I often work through rain and only stop for lighting. In a 3 hour or more period in the rain its hard to keep "dry". That said everything under the jacket stays dry no gradual soak through of the material has occurred with my use of the jacket. You definately want the pants as well as water proof Footwear.

Answer:	This is not a shirt, its a jacket which goes over other clothing, therefore it should be a little big. It is perfect for the rain, my husband is a biologist and often works out in the field, he loves this jacket, its light and breathable but also waterproof.

Answer:	Hi. I purposely wore mine in a downpour for 1.5 hours. I had treated it with Granger’s spray. I was dry. You may want to carefully consider sizing choice. I’m close to 180 C.M. tall and 180 pounds. I wish I had purchased a large so I could layer under the jacket. Mine is about 2 years old and holding up fine.
Question:	Would this be a good jacket for very cold weather say 30 degrees or less
Answer:	I've had the Rothco version of this (well many of them, I buy one every other year), I use them for winter bike commuting in Northeast Ohio. They do not work as a stand alone jacket at that temperature but they can't be beat for wind/rain/snow protection and rugged protection from scrapes and falls at this price. Buy one size too big, then add layers. I use a wicking baselayer tech tee or bike jersey, my regular clothes, then an insulated non-water/windproof hoodie with face mask built in, then this shell. I've been comfortable down to 5-10F (with appropriate gloves, socks, pants, etc).

Answer:	Yes. Their are Velcro tabs to facilitate folding the hood on my jacket. Also regarding sizing. I’m the maximum of medium size on their sizing chart. You may want the next size up if you want to layer under the jacket. I do like this jacket.

Answer:	Large. These run big. I'm 5'11" 195# muscular if that helps. I own the multicam in XL as well but it's roomy with layers underneath. L still fits perfect with a sweatshirt but doesnt ride up or get in the way as much when sitting.

Answer:	You can open the collar so it is not as restrictive but you cannot fold it down flat to the shoulder. Frankly, the collar is not a real problem unless you zip the jacket all the way to the top and button the top buckle. This is a great jacket overall.

Answer:	No it is not heavy enough to keep you warm in New York cold weather. I lived in New York for 3 years before moving to Virginia so I know how cold New York is.

Answer:	I wrote a review previously. My husband is 5'10" and 175 lbs and I bought him an XL and it fit nicely (some men are more muscular in arms/chest etc and some a bit bigger in tummy area so taking that into consideration). I bought a small in a blue color I love tho easy to tell it's a man's jacket as bigger in upper chest, sleeves etc. and tapers at hip which women's usually flares a bit for wider hips. These do seem to hit around the belt line (lower on men than women) so if you want a longer jacket this isn't it. If you have a uniform store nearby with Police clothing supplies etc there may be 5.11 tactical jackets you can try on to get a better idea.

Answer:	Yes it has some fleece lining at some parts of its lining. I hate wearing fleece that is why I am returning it. It is a very nice lightweight softshell jacket with no hood for fleece lovers.
