Answer:	If you are going to be riding at night you should always have more than one light with you. For that reason I recommend purchasing two of these. You just never know when one light might die on you due to battery or just hardware issues. On the brighter settings this light will get you 1-2 good hours. On the lower light settings at least 2-3. FYI: The more than one light rule applies to tail lights as well.
