Answer:	Hi Aaron, I have not used this wax for that application. It is a hard wax that does best with an iron to penetrate the base of skis. That being said you can rub this wax on, skiers often use a cork to rub, partially heating and more effectively apply wax this way. Higher temperature rated wax is softer than colder temperature rated wax. The sled should slide better on the sand with some wax, but you should also consider the kind of material the sled is made out of. Will it hold wax?
