Answer:	I am sort of short waisted, so sometimes the waistband "rolls" - but even so, I haven't had problems with chafing. In fact, I got these because as I got older, I would GET chafing while running, where I never had before. I wanted an economical solution instead of paying $20-40 or more for each pair of heavier weight running compression shorts. Now I just wear these under my running shorts and have had no problems with chafing at all. I recently ran a half marathon with no chafing problems. I even wear these just as day to day underwear, under street clothes. They have no rough seams and are great.
