Answer:	I've never used in sand but I can't imagine that they wouldn't work as good in sand as the do in snow and they work exceptionally well in snow.

I tried to pull him out but didn't work and then I remembered! The portable tow truck that was in the back. We put them under the tires and as soon as they touched the track a little the truck bucked back and was out! It sent these skidding forward towards the front tires but they worked well. This is on our frozen river that we use for road during freezes. These worked pretty impressively. Everyone that saw were amazed and will probably buy these too. Answer:	They run on the "squat" end of the spectrum -- I have medium hands in Isotoner and other regular-sized gloves; on these, I had to return the mediums because the fingers are too short for my (normal-sized, but a bit longer) fingers, so the gloves didn't reach the skin/ curve between my fingers. Results in a truncated grip.

Question:	How is the sizing.... take xl... do i need xxl
Answer:	I initially measured my hand as the sizing chart said to do and I thought I would be a men's large. Upon receiving the gloves I noticed that they were very tight. I could wear them but they were tight. I then ordered one xl and one xxl and they both fit better but I would say the xxl felt the best on me. So I maybe would go up two sizes. One thing to keep in mind is how snug you want the gloves to be as I don't like gloves that are tight fitting.
