Answer:	I am not positive by the material seems to be a nylon/ polyester fabric and I would be fairly sure it could be hand washed. My water bottle leaked and when the Fanny pack dried it was fine. It is a great pack I would definitely hand wash.

Answer:	Don't throw it away it is what makes the fanny pack water proof.

Answer:	No it doesn’t, but this waist pack has 5 zippered compartments, in the Fourth compartments, it has a separate zippered compartment with in, that’s where I keep my cards , keys, I keep my cell in the main zippered one. There is enough room in the other zippered compartments. The very first one is smaller, difficult to get items in it.
Question:	Is it waterpfoof
Answer:	The minimum size I could make it by pulling the strap completely through buckle was 19" to a maximum size of 46" WITHOUT the extender. I measured this with a tape measure. I did not get the extender as these sizes are shorter and longer than what I need at 36". Given that these measurements are very close to the measurements given in their description and their description lists the extender at a maximum length of 22.5" then the maximum WITH the extender would be 68.5 inches. I hope this helps. If you are going to wear over the shoulder instead of around the waist, get the extender for versatility.
