| Answer: | No. Mine was well over 62" when fully packed. I used it to carry washable feminine hygiene kits (fairly dense fabric) to Uganda, and I needed to get 49 lbs in each duffel bag. I had to use a smaller duffel inside this one as a compression bag to compact 90% of the kits in, then put the remaining 10% of the kits around the compression bag in order to get close to 50 lbs without exceeding 62". The other answer used space bags. So you would need some sort of compression to get close to 50lbs of fabric w/o exceeding 62". |
