My second computer is 15 inches and that does not fit either. The bag is 12 inches across and as long as your binder, notebook and comp books are less than 12 inches they should fit. The bag has nice inside compartments for pens, flash drives, etc. I carry everything I need daily but still have to rely on my laptop carrying case for that.
