My limit was 50 lbs and neither my domestic carrier nor my international carrier batted an eye at the size. I flew Japan Airline and Co-shared my domestic flight with American Airlines. The ticket counter even joked I had could have carried 6 additional pounds in each bag. On my international flights they weighed the bags all at once. However, if you are on a strict airline that charges for everything, these are over the published sizes and could charge over size fees, but if they are under weight, they may look the other way. |

I can lift it with my little finger. It is the lightest piece of luggage we have which is one reason I like it. The wheels are tucked in under the bag so the capacity of the bag is not reduced by the height of the wheels. That does mean the wheels only go in one direction but you don't lose 2 or more inches of packing space inside the bag. No problem pulling it behind you or pushing in front. Very sturdy. |
