Answer:	I bought this for my newborn and also have a 20 month old girl. My newest baby girl is about 13 lbs now and my older girl is about 22 lbs. When I first put it on, I put my oldest in it and she fit fine. As long as you wrap it tight, it will hold weight. My newborn is now 3 months old and I use it with her when I go out places where I need my hands free for my other 2 kids. I never got one with my first two kids and figured I HAD to have it with my 3rd. I now wish I had purchased this with my first child, because it really is practical and comfortable.

Answer:	I have this wrap and have been very happy with it. I've never used a wrap before (I use baby Bjorne) and was pleasantly surprised. Every time we go to the pool I use it for my infant. He is a big 2 months (almost 14lbs) and I've been using it since he was about 4 weeks old. I would say it's good quality- but like I said this is my first wrap so I have nothing to compare it too.

Answer:	I take no special care of my sling. I've had it for 8 months now and it hasn't shrunk and the rings are intact and like new. I just don't leave it for an hr in the dryer, with 20 to 30 mins is enough to dry.
Question:	what is the empty weight
Answer:	I'm size 12 and the tail isn't all that long. It looks like it does in the picture, which is shorter than I like (although this isn't a dealbreaker; the sling is high quality otherwise). I would say this is really not a good choice for 16 or 18+ mamas. Hint hint Hip Baby! Please make a bigger size of your great sling :

Answer:	No, I don't think so. I have the 24in and just used it for a 6 day trip and it was perfect. Not to big or to small. The 20in would not have worked for me. For the money the 24 is better. But it would probably not work as a carryon.
