Having said that, and based on my hazy memories of years and infants gone by, I would guess that this would be excellent for diaper items. It's compact and packable, light-weight, and well designed. The large open pocket would be ideal for a blanket, burping towels, poncho, etc. which need to be handy. The simplicity makes it easy to find things, even small things. The side pockets for water containers are deep enough to minimize containers falling out. It's large enough for the many extras you need--toys, extra clothes, your raincoat and book, etc. |

No way to close up the sleeve/pocket, and part of the laptop would be visible inside the main compartment and above the edge of the sleeve/pocket, but it would separate the laptop from other things in the bag. | Answer: | If you’re asking can you wear this while trekking in the rain for a prolonged period of time, I haven’t done that so don’t know. I’ve only used for occasional times when it was raining and I had to run to the car or walk through the city. In those cases i believe it did get wet, items inside were dry, but I’d protect it with a water repellent spray if I were to use it for prolonged water exposure. |
