Answer:	We bought this a few years ago and I believe the 4 ft overlap was an exaggeration, It did overhang by a foot perhaps but definitely not 4 ft. Also, we put it on late October/early November and by December we had drug it out of the pool 3x and we had followed the installation directions carefully. We finally gave up and just dealt with a dirty pool come spring. We went back to taking the pool down each year after that.

The hip straps add to its comfortable design. Price is good too as I’ve seen some go for $40-60 dollars for a durable water pack. Overall pleased with this hiking.
