Question:	Are they wider than your average cheap plastic dress up shoes? My daughter had a wide foot and the others cut into her skin
Answer:	Yes. These are great quality shoes. They are made of a more flexible rubber material, not hard plastic. Not cheaply made at all. My daughter walks all around the house in these and I can't hear her like I do in the cheap plastic ones. The only pair you may have a problem with is the closed-toe pair just because of the style.

Answer:	I bought this for my 3 year old. The tutus were a little big on her. But I don’t think they would fit a 12 year old.
