Let it sit 10 minutes or so and brush it briskly with the shoe brush. Optional..... 4.) Polish the shoe using a clean portion of the T-shirt using spit as a lubricant. If you really want a high gloss shine, use Kiwi Parade Gloss polish and the optional Step 4 "spit shine" process mentioned above. Warning, on new shoes, you will need to do this 20 or more times to completely fill the pores in the leather and build up a glass smooth layer of polish on top of the leather. Once that initial shine is achieved, maintaining a spit shine is easy. Don't rub too hard. You'll need to develop a feel for working the polish so you're not just rubbing it off after you put it on. There's a "touch" to it. |
