Answer:	The size chart I feel is misleading. I wear a size 40 pant but I measure 47 inches which on the chart says 7XL which are not a option in stock. I bought the 2Xl and had to return them for being to tight. I got a 4xl and they are a little big but fit fine with the Velcro on the waste that you can adjust. Which the company states is not a over pant but I’ve been wearing thermal under it comfortably ( still cold here). The Velcro staps on the legs don’t have enough material to adjust them though. I might have to stitch some on. The only real downside of these pants or size I got is the knee pads Sit to low. More at the shins. I’d think the XL or 2XL should work. It’s kinda a gamble with sizing. Nice pants otherwise. Went riding the other day and they are warm. Definitely not for hot summer days. Hope my ramble helps
