Answer:	Can you be more specific. What do you mean by power adapter? Surge protector or some kind of power switch? Those lamps plug into the wall outlet directly and have no switches. You have to touch them to turn on and off. But the problem is they are turning on by itself, without touching them. Very nice when it happens in the middle of the night. We had to return them.
