Samsung and AT&T recently went into a joint venture, building a factory together where Samsung manufacturers phones for AT&T. No Samsung phone and AT&T will screw you. AT&T is trying to force you to buy a Samsung phone (in my opinion overpriced, and loaded with bloatware which can't be removed). Amazon will sell you a one week trial SIM card from Mint Mobile (a T-Mobile MNVO) for literally a couple of bucks. Buy the card and see for yourself. Nokia phones work great on the T-Mobile network. Make sure you aren't using AT&T or any of their MVNOs. Stick with T-Mobile or one of their MNVOs like Mint Mobile, and you and your Nokia will be happy campers. |
