Answer:	These are an on ear design headphone, so yes, you can hear what someone is listening to if you are within 5 or 6 feet of them, and they are blasting the music. There is really no such thing as an on ear headphone that supports true noise cancelling. Nor is there such a thing as an on ear headphone that does not bleed sound. Over the ear headphones isolate and contain sound within the ear cups, so if you require noise cancelling or sound isolation, going with an over the ear headphone is the way to go.
