Answer:	I am not sure of the answer to that question. I have been using this case style for over 2 years without a problem. (2 phones) The first one is still in use, as my son has that phone after I upgraded to 6s. The case fits tight, but is not a full enclosure. Also, all ports, speaker/microphones, and toggles are exposed to open air. I am going to make an assumption that these features prevent heat buildup.

Answer:	For almost all cases, you can NOT put one case over another since these are meant to be tightly fit directly on the phone itself (otherwise it would defeat the very purpose right?) !!! So unless your existing case is like extremely (like almost nothing) thin, there is no way you can put this on top of it!

Answer:	The case is for my daughter whois a college student. She told me actually she already dropped the phone a few times. The screen protector is damaged a little, but the phone is still in goo condition.
