Answer:	It's a single piece design that you 'push' the phone into. It's very snug and the phone doesn't move inside of it. Of the close to 50 times I've popped it out top use the 30 pin adapter, it's still very tight around the phone.

Answer:	By "fake" Aelias9 means a knock-off (not made by Belkin). I have the same concern. The bad reviews about poor fit and quality seem to be referring to knock-off cases while the 'real' Belkin cases are good fit, good quality. I'd like to know which sellers people for the good cases from versus the knock-off cases. Are the ones shipped and sold by Amazon actual Belkin cases?

Answer:	You need to have a relay that will throw when one of the onboard analog extensions rings. In short the x16 on its own can NOT throw a electric strike. With a couple pieces of inexpensive hardware from viking (door phone module and relay control) and your in like Flynn. I've been a telecom tech since 92 so it'd an easy install for myself but if your not technically inclined I would be a bit hesitant. Running the wire down the doorjamb for the strike can be a tricky. The x16 itself is an easy install though, and a ton of videos on YouTube for reference.
