Answer:	Hello, to answer your question this device has a little over a quarter inch width on the top, I have the Mophie case and it will NOT fit, but if you have the Apple version of the extra battery it will fit standing up as the Apple case is only thicker in the middle of the phone and does not cover the two antennas on the back . If I'm utilising just my standard leather case it fits in both directions. it's a nice piece but I will warn you that the wires don't hide well in my opinion

Answer:	The simple answer is yes. This is just a stand. You run your device cords through and plug each one into an outlet individually. I returned mine as it defeated the purpose of charging multiple devices at once with a single plug.
