Answer:	The short answer is no My I-phone is 5 and 3/8 by 2 and 7/8, For this it's a tight fit for the leather holster that I have.

Answer:	I have a case thinner then an otter box and I don't have to remove it. I would think the otterbox would be a little tight. My guess is you would have to take it off. But that is going to be the case with any running band you buy. Unless you can find one that will stretch out.
