Answer:	Hi, there are access points in the bottom of the pocket however it is not wide enough to accommodate the charger. If you insert the iPod top down into the pocket you can access the charging port from the top flap. Thanks!

Answer:	I don't think so, especially if your phone has some sort of case. It's never happened to me. To be on the safe side, keep it the other way up.

Answer:	Yes, the clear plastic covers the entire front of the phone.
Question:	This shows the jack at the top of the case, is that the only opening? The 5/5S have the jack at the bottom which is different from the 4. Your 5 phone would be upside down
Answer:	There are holes on the upper side and the phone is inserted from the bottom side. However it is not comfortable to open the cover on the otter box defender as it might get torn. You turn over the armband and have the phone looking up so the jack is accessible from the large opening.
