Answer:	Like all headsets there are several factors including how charged it is at the time. What interferences may be around. If you were in a basement for example and left your phone in one room and walked through a doorway it may disconnect but anywhere else may be hundreds of feet. I've walked away from my cell several times and I would estimate in the open about 100 feet or so as I left my cell in the shed earlier today. But if I had went in my camper 30 feet away could have lost signal also. It's pretty typical for any Bluetooth device.

Answer:	First of all the H730’s ARE NOT part of the new Hx series!! There are still many H720’s and H730’s. These are just newer/better than the H710’s. I’ve been using these for years, as well! According to Motorola, they discontinuing all of this style of Bluetooth. I’m very disappointed. I’ve tried others, not by purchasing them, just placing them on my ear. I HATE THEM!!! Maybe, if enough of us sign a petition to keep producing them, they will change their minds. The people that like these new ones are for people like business men/woman. I wouldn’t have a clue as to how to start a petition like this, but I will definitely sign it if you know how to start one. I hope this helps.

Answer:	I am unfamiliar with the HX550. The H730 lets me know through audible reponse, status the device, such as power on and charge level. Also, with any incoming text message I can read it and answer back using only my voice commands. This is a great feature for truly hands free usage.

Does this have a ear hook with it

Boom piece broke after 9 months of CAREFUL use. Special pocket in my handbag, special place on nightstand. This is my 3rd Motorola Bluetooth; while the prices have gone down over the last 9 years, so has the quality. The Motorola blue tooth I started with came with a travel case and swiveled off and on - lasted for years and was around $80. I would not recommend this Boom model because when the flip piece (boom) breaks, you cannot use the Bluetooth until it is replaced. Motorola only offers a 90 day warranty and I doubt the piece would even be covered under warranty because it would probably be classified as “normal wear and tear” which Motorola doesn’t cover. I agree with reviews below - boom is made of cheap plastic destined to break and metal should be used on that joint. Bums me out that the quality of this and other products I’ve bought for years keeps getting worse. More stuff in landfills and poor customer service/warranties.

Answer:	Yes! I use if with my laptop and my mobile phone at the same time. To clarify, that's not to say that you would do a conference call using both at the same time (have't tried that and not sure that would work), but it links to both devices so that if I get or place a phone call with my mobile phone or Skype, there are no modes to switch or extra buttons to push. It also works for any type of webinar with audio and/or phone via computer.
