Answer:	Technology has changed in the 3 years since my post and we no longer need the mini cell tower because our phone service provider has upgraded their lines out here to provide us with a better signal. I would now suggest the following: if your AT&T service is bad at both primary and vacation home, you would need a microcell at EACH location and each would require separate registration with AT&T. But when you need one, it works well. Whether or not you would need an extra little antenna will depend upon your location... and sadly, it can be a sort of trial and error thing so keep your receipts. I would suggest chatting with a local AT&T store (if your service is through AT&T) about current requirements to boost your signal at either location and then you could purchase the microcell tower from Amazon... but getting expert technical advice is invaluable if you're not an engineer which I am not. I've found that setting the screen up approximately 3 feet from my eyes and experimenting with the angle of the phone and projection screen (separately and together) can give good results. I got to the point where the picture filled the screen fully from top to bottom, but not quite from side to side. It was a big improvement over just using the phone screen. I'm assuming a 6.5 inch phone screen would probably fill in pretty much all of the projections screen from side to side. Again, I found just experimenting a little gave good results especially when considering the portability and price point.
