| Answer: | A longer exposure would need a move-shoot-move device where the shutter is controlled by the device. I bought this for daytime time lapse where exposure wasn't an issue. As it turns out, though, the movement WAS an issue. VERY jerky, not smooth at all. My time lapses were awful. I won't use this ever again. Live and learn. |

| Answer: | It has three screw mounts, one being on the side. I have not mounted it on a tripod yet, but I know with mine I have a flip handle on the tripod so it could go in portrait mode.
