Answer:	I have experienced a similar problem with the UNU Superpak i8 20800 mAh battery. I have found that it is possible to charge the unit with a different USB cable, however the least movement of that connector at the UNU charge port causes it to disconnect. Not sure if the problem is the USB connector inside the battery or just what. This is completely unsatisfactory and I am returning the unit to Amazon.

Answer:	Hello, whenever you leave any battery pack stored away for an extended period of time it is recommended that you keep between a 50% - 70% charge in the device. Additionally, I have read recommendations that you should use and charge batteries every 90 to 120 days for a little bit of use. By using them periodically, it will preserve the life of the battery. Question:	How are so many people receiving this product, for free, just for reviews? It makes me question the review validity
Answer:	I can tell you as a top reviewer that top reviewers get offers for free external battery packs all the time. Many of them are junk, and I would expect that most reviewers would turn down the majority of offers because it's simply not worth the time to write a review for something that I wouldn't want to own or use. Any reviewer who gets one for free is required both by Amazon rules and by FTC rules (in other words, by law) to disclose it. If you see a review from somebody who discloses it, check out that person's other reviews. If that person gives five star reviews to everything he touches, you can figure that either the person is very good at filtering out junk, or (more likely) more enthusiastic than products merit. Companies also pick out reviewers that they hope will be fair and balanced. Amazon cares about customer feedback and ranks reviewers based on it. I'd rather have you buy a product I recommend and enjoy using it than have you come back and give me a "not helpful" vote, and Amazon would rather that you not buy a product and buy a competing one instead than buy something you will want to return and not trust reviews because of it. In some cases I've had companies complain about reviews, but if it means that I won't get more products from them in the future, chances are I wouldn't want them anyway. With UNU, I accepted a sample because they are a respected company right outside of Silicon Valley where they can get top engineers, put together a good product and offer good support. I've seen far too many from China put together by companies that simply have access to generic parts and couldn't string together a cohesive sentence in a user manual. I literally had one brand that came in a package that said "Warning: get rid of children." This product tells you what it works with, and even what percentage increase you could expect over standard battery life. If it's not to your expectation, look into some of their other products. Read the negative reviews too to see why people didn't like it and look for specifics related to the product itself. Put it all in perspective and remember that any battery pack, especially from off shore companies, will have loads of reviews from people who got them for free.
Question:	I don't think mine is working right. Took hours to charge, go from red to blue and not very fast charging my phone
Answer:	I haven't had that type of issue with this battery, but I did have a similar issue using a wall charger. I had bought a USB cord to replace the original for charging and data transfer. I do not know why, but with the replacement cord it did not charge my phone nearly as fast, even with the original wall plug. I even timed it and noted the percentage of charge. I then switched back to the original cord and everything was back to normal. It could just be the cord causing the issue. I don't know what kind of phone you have, but the smaller capacity of this battery could also be causing the appearance that your phone is charging slower as well. Try using the cord that came with your phone with the battery and see if there might be a difference in charging. I used this battery with a HTC One M8 for about 2 weeks and have used it with a LG G3 for about 3 weeks. Both high end phones with larger capacity batteries. This battery gave me approximately twice the normal run time compared to just the phone battery by itself. For example my LG has a 3000 mAh battery. This external battery is only 2800 mAh. This battery will not fully recharge the phone if it were completely dead. It's physically impossible. There are just several factors that could be causing the issue. The battery could be working just the way it is supposed to, just that it's a smaller capacity. As for the heat, the harder the battery has to work the hotter it will get. The heat could also be an issue of the cord somehow restricting output and could also be that the smaller battery just can't keep up with the demand of your phone. I hope this helps, I know it's a little long of an explanation. I would first try a different cord. Second, you may consider a larger capacity battery as well.
