Answer:	hello, the solar charge function works but takes a lot of time. I think of this more inline with just adding a trickle charge to the battery versus actually charging the battery itself.30000mah (capacity) / 360mah (solar charge rate) = approximate charge time in full sunlight if battery completely dead = 84 hours. The solar panel isn't the intended way to charge the device. It's basically just there to keep the battery topped off. Answer:	I have a similar cables for this specific Android Auto purpose, but they all only charge at most at 400 mA which is about the same as the cable that came with my phone plugged into my car's USB, but it's on average of about 150 mA. With the usage of Android Auto while plugged in, even to a fast charge source, this is more of a maintenance charge than anything. After an hour, it might charge my battery up about 3%. I've been looking to solve the Android Auto issue for years and there is still no real solution to fast charge the phone while playing Android Auto on these types of cables.
