Answer:	Yes, you can charge and play at the same time. I do it all the time.
Question:	Why does it not charge in TV Mode
Answer:	The graphics hardware in the Switch runs in a higher power mode when it’s driving an external display (TV up to 1080p) and a lower power mode when it’s driving the smaller, built in display (which I believe runs at 720p). The adapter that comes with the Switch can provide enough power to charge in either mode, while still charging. This smaller adapter only provides enough power to charge while in the low power mode. That’s why I just use this charger for when I’m away from the TV/dock.
Question:	After 5.0 update does this brick your switch
Answer:	I do not recommend this power adapter period. This charger will not power on a Switch if the Switch has been fully depleted of power. Please see my review for more details.

Our original remote was dropped too many times and stopped working and this one worked right out of the box once batteries were installed. Just make sure your TV model # is on the compatibility list. I don’t think the WiFi password has any bearing on the remote working, but the remote should enable you to scroll through the setup options so you can change the password.

Answer:	It depend om what is connected. Mice and Keyboards and some HDs have either batteries or a power supply but I would not hook up one of the portable "2.5" drives, which are really metric 60 mm not 2.5 inches. The power from the USB depend on the port. Not all ports supply a charging voltage. You source port would need to supply the proper energy if you did not use it. A memory stick his no power source, a larg one would be th most likely object to fail besides the previously mentioned drive.
