Answer:	I have found using distilled water helps to keep it cleaner running better.

Answer:	Yes. I do not use essential oils as some are toxic to pets.
Question:	Is it normal for the oil to get mixed with the water
Answer:	It’s normal for pure essential oils to break down plastic. (They need to be in metal or glass.) I used to make skin care products using essential oils. They came to us in heavy metal cans or glass. If in their concentrated form, they were left in plastic containers, the containers would bend and warp. (We had an employee who unintentionally demonstrated this fact for us.) I’m not sure of the technicality of it but I just know - It doesn’t matter what the scent is, don’t put essential oils in plastic! :)
Question:	Can all the lights be turned off
Answer:	Yes you can turn off the color array of lights on the main body, however the "on" lights remain illuminated even with the color display off. There is a red light for constant mist and a green light for intermittent mist. It is quite bright in a dark room (think on your bedside table). It is not just a small illuminated dot but rather a bright dot with corresponding color glow at the bottom. Quite a lot of light next to your bed when trying to sleep. :-( So far, wrapping a dark ribbon around the base at night helps but not an ideal solution. Otherwise I love this diffuser.

Answer:	If it were located near the purification unit I would say so. Also with some oils, they are therapeutic grade made to stay in the air to do their jobs. Best bet is to turn off purifier whilst running diffuser.

Answer:	This product is actually a diffuser, not a humidifier. It does however, put moisture in the air while diffusing essential oils. I do know that if you fill it to the 300ml line, it will produce vapors for about 7-8 hrs. You can feel moisture in the air, but I'm not sure what the actual humidity level is.

Answer:	In the directions, you will see there are 3 options for misting I think the first is for on and off over a period of time. Second is to run continuously until the water has evaporated (that's the option I use; when I fill to top, I think it lasts up to 3 hours). I don't remember the third option. You can also turn off the lights, if you don't like them.
