Answer:	Otterbox said no then they change the answer to say their cases allowed all features of the phone to work. I will post back Monday or Tuesday when I receive this. It works but you have to play with sitting the phone onn it. Sometimes I can't get it to turn on and have to keep sitting it down on it til blue light comes on. Also if the blue light flashes seem not to be charging need a solid blue light.

Bought the current flat one when I bought the Note 10+.

Answer:	I wouldn't bet on it working if the battery isn't capable of wireless charging. A standard case is fine because it doesn't block the magnetic field between the charger and the phone, but anything as full of metal as that battery is definitely going to block the charging. If your battery pack is capable of wireless charging and supports passthrough, then you can charge one while it charges the other. But again, I wouldn't bet on your case supporting any of that.

Answer:	I have pretty small ears, as in I have to use the smallest earbud tips with nearly EVERY headphone I've ever used. I CANNOT use the Apple headphones/buds as they kill my ears in about 20 minutes. I've been wearing my Samsung buds with the smallest tips, and the no wing rubber bits and I can go a whole work day 9+ hours in complete comfort. Answer:	The directions state, "The Gear S2 does not support the wireless charging feature.". Which sucks because that's the only reason I bought since the wife has both. Amazon description is misleading.

Answer:	I am not sure where some have gotten their information but the older version will fast wirelessly charge a Samsung S8. I know because I have the older version and it fast charges my S8. The difference between this one and the old one is this one can be a flat pad or a stand and it has three charging coils versus two for bigger phones. However it is correct that you need the appropriate fast charging wall plug and cord for any of them to work correctly.

Question:	How long is the cord
Answer:	I just received the a Gear4 - D3O Piccadilly Case for my Samsung Galaxy S8+ I bought on Amazon. The case is awesome! Unfortunately the charger will not charge with the case on. The LED lights up on the phone as if it is charging. The light around the charger pad blinks on and off but doesn't charge the phone. It did the same thing with my boyfriends charging pad. I love the case so I'm actually going to return the charger and just use the cord it originally came with!

Question:	Does it come with charging adapter
Answer:	Not sure what you mean by “shut down” but the device does not automatically cut itself off until you unplug it. There is a green light however on the device that indicates the phone is fully charged. I suspect that it maintains the fully charged status until the phone is removed from the plate.
Question:	The light turned red and the phone is not charging at all, is it working
Answer:	The first immediate difference is the 2016 has a convertible model. It uses 3 coils, the 2018....2 coils. The 2016 disc is padded and not as flat....2018 is very flat, not padded and rubberized/siliconized for no slip. One other difference is the front lip on the 2018 is higher and not as forgiving with thicker cases fitting correctly. But Official OEM Samsung cases on the S8 and newer to the Note 9 fit perfectly.
Question:	How well does this work with a galaxy s8?? What about with a case on your phone
Answer:	Mine worked with my s9plus with an otterbox defender case. Had to sit dead center or it won't charge though. It also works with my s20 ultra and it also has an otterbox defender case. Same deal that it has to sit dead center. But IT WILL CHARGE with case on.
