Your only issue might be if the files need a program you don't have on win 10 So direct to your point.... as long as the disks were windows they will likely be FAT formatted or a newer formatting and not a issue reading them unless the disks are damaged. (Only real restriction would be reading Apple/Mac disks on a PC or PC on a Apple but you were not asking about that)

Answer:	Nope. Not unless you have an adapter. That Bose dock is too small for the iPad. And the Bluetooth doesn't charge anything. Only syncs to your Bluetooth component.

Answer:	As the iPhone 5 and Sounddock III both have 8-pin Lightning connectors this Bluetooth music receiver with a 30-pin connector would not be appropriate.This receiver has an Apple 30-pin connector and should work fine with any Dock that has a compatible 30-pin connector for an iOS device that is also able to charge the device. Answer:	If you mean 'horizontal' to be landscape vs portrait positions, the answer is yes. There is a small charging point for wireless charging capable iPods (gen2), but its too small and low power to charge the phone on a flat position.
