If that doesn't work, then try it with someone else's (preferably new) laptop. Some cheap/old laptops are built with too few capacitors and you probably shouldn't use this inverter. (Alternatively, you could hardwire capacitance into your charging cord). It's also possible that the product is not actually putting out a proper waveform. It works fine on my laptop, so I haven't tested that yet. |

| Answer: | I have a film protection on the screen, which I suppose protects the screen from scratches. However, if I dropped the phone on a sharp object, I suppose that the screen would be vulnerable. It is important to note that the case has a lip which is, perhaps, 1/16" above the level of the phone itself, which offers a pretty good protection against screen damage. All I can say is that I have dropped the phone on a hard surface (pavement, floor, etc.) on several occasions with no visible damage to the phone. Other cases that I have had (Seidio, e.g.) have cracked, which then leaves a mark on the instrument. However, this case has stood up to the beating of being dropped several times with no evidence on the screen, or elsewhere on the phone. |
