User questions & answers
Question: | I have the sandisk clip sport mp3 player, will this transmitter work with that? thank you in advance |
Answer: | As long as it has a standard 1/8 inch stereo headphone jack, which I would imagine it does, then it should work just fine. Pretty much anything with a headphone jack will work. |
Question: | Does it remember the MHz frequency that you set it to (for example, "102.1") after you turn the power off and back on |
Answer: | Yes, next time when you turn it on,it can show the last MHz frequency you used. |
Question: | What exactly does this do |
Answer: | Allows you to play your music that is in your phone or music player through a "unused" radio channel; such as in your car |
Question: | Can this be tuned to international stations like |
Answer: | I have no idea...I use it for local FM stations that are open...It works very well.. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Does this fast charge the note 5 ? (will the phone recognize it as a fast charger like the oem wall charger |
Answer: | It comes with the XZ Premium, earphones, a type-c usb cable and a wall plug which should be country specific Hopefully this helps. |
Question: | Will it work for ipod classic 160 gb |
Answer: | I love this phone, but everybody has their own preferences. I was concerned when I bought mine if it would function in the U. S., since it is an international model. I simply verified that it was compatible with my carrier, for me that was T-mobile, I had my previous phone stolen, so I needed to buy a new SIM card and had my carrier set up my phone and sync to my carrier. It's worked fantastic for around 9 months, until a couple of weeks ago, where I could text but not make or receive calls. I'm super busy all the time so it took me that long to take it in and have my carrier contact support help on the issue, (they were stumped at the retail outlet) but, an hour later tech support resolved the problem by re-sync of my phone to the network and things are back to fantastic!! This model has features that are NOT obtainable on a U. S. model, so for me personally it is far superior. And I prefer mine over any other iPhone or other competitors that I've ever looked at. With all that being said, I couldn't say for "CERTAIN" that it will work in Ireland, but if its matched to your carrier, I see no valid reason that It wouldn't. Sure hope it helps you! |

User questions & answers
Question: | Is this charger UL sertified |
Answer: | No, it doesn't. |
Question: | Does this unit have a bright led light? looking for an unlit unit. thank you |
Answer: | sure, all ports can be used at the same time |
Question: | Does it draw power when car is off and USB port is left empty, if so, how much power it consumes |
Answer: | I don't see how it can do what you want. It only has one USB-C port. If you use that port for power in, you can't also connect to a USB-C monitor. |
Question: | Is this okay to power a 12v dash cam |
Answer: | No, they can't. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Why does the spec show there is a range of output voltage rather than set values? Would this effect my phones negatively |
Answer: | Joe I'm not an engineer, but this is what I have gathered it is a QualCom Quick Charge 3.0 device that is backwards compatible. So depending on your device it will give out as much juice as the device can safely take. From the latest Snapdragon 820 Quick Charge 3.0 device down to non quick charge phones. That's my take at least. I know for sure my Nexus 6 P and my wife's Note 4 were fast charging while both plugged in at the same time. |
Question: | What is the amp output per port and what is the total of the amp output running both ports simultaneously |
Answer: | "Quick Charge Version 2.0 supported four modes at varying power levels, 5 volts/2amps, 9V/2A, 12V/1.67A, and a 20 volt option. Quick Charge 3.0âs INOV communicates with the device to request any voltage between 3.2V and 20V at 200mV increments, allowing for a wider selection of voltages."1"3.0 vs 2.0 vs 1.0Perhaps the best way to look at this is to compare the charging values between each of Qualcommâs Quick Charge revisions. Quick Charge 3.0 Quick Charge 2.0 Quick Charge 1.0Voltages 3.2v - 20v dynamic 5V / 9V / 12V 5VMax Power 18W 18W 10W"1This particular model does have a chip in place that's supposed to determine the correct power requirements of the device that's connected to it. So I would assume it would provide at least the minimum USB standard output of 5v@500mAh to a non-Quick Charge device. Just some quick math, it could be capable of providing up to ~5.6A (at lower voltage of course). This is per port. It would fail to meet spec if current was split between two active ports. If you're asking if it can charge a tablet, I charge a kid's Kindle with mine. I can also charge a QC 2.0 phone in one port and a QC 3.0 phone in the other, simultaneously.1 http://www.androidauthority.com/quick-charge-3-0-explained-643053/ |
Question: | If I have two Galaxy S7s will they both charge at the same rate |
Answer: | If you would have simply read the product description, you would have seen it says "Charges 2 compatible devices simultaneously up to 4 times faster with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 Technology" and "Dual Quick Charge 3.0 USB-C Ports with AiPower Adaptive Charging Technology". In the future, I suggest reading product descriptions as it may save you time not having to ask questions and waiting for answers. |
Question: | Would this safely charge an old phone that is not qc 3.0 compatible? like say galaxy note |
Answer: | Yes it will, my mom has the note 2 and It charges it fast, even tho it doesn't sat fast charge but it charges better than any other car charger. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Is this compatible with the samsung fast charging |
Answer: | My April 2017 purchase shows as an AC source. Using a Samsung Galaxy Player 5 with the app "Battery Charge Source Current" by PromethylHosting.com and a standard USB data cord, the app indicates "Fast Charge...5vdc detected on Pins 1 & 4 and Pins 2&3 are bridged" for both ports. Now, whether that's accomplished via firmware on the charger or whether Pins 2&3 are truly shorted, I don't know. |
Question: | How securely does this stay in an outlet? At idle, my motorcycle shakes like a paint shaker in an earthquake |
Answer: | Pretty secure. So far I tried it on 2 cars. And it sits all the way in. It hardly sticks out. And if you try to pull it out, its pretty good in there and tricky to get out. Toughness to remove from a scale from 1 - 10 I would say 8. |
Question: | I noticed Audi on the 'does not support' list. Anyone use in a VW Passat? They share many of the same components |
Answer: | It's not necessarily a matter of support rather more one of fit in my case (2012 Mazda3). The flat bottom of the charger keeps the pin from contacting the bottom of the outlet. I noticed similar problems with many of the 1-star reviews, common thread being that it would not work in many Mazda's. All of the freebie chargers have worked in that outlet as did the Scosche Revolt 2-port charger I bought after returning the Aukey. These latter ones all have a more tapering cone shape to the tip. I hope this helps. |
Question: | Can I leave this plugged into my car lighter all the time like most other usb car chargers |
Answer: | Yes, these devices can draw a small continual wattage. However since at least stock cars generally have the cigarette lighter(s) fed through the ignition/accessory switch, that means the socket will be dead or shut off when you pull the car key. In that sense you could leave it plugged in because 99% of the time, when you switch the ignition on, it is to start your car. A typical drain (without device plugged in) would be measured in milliamps. |

User questions & answers
Question: | What's the idle current |
Answer: | The idle current of AUKEY CC-T13 car charger is less than 30mA. |
Question: | Can someone confirm that this will Quick Charge the new iPhone 11 models |
Answer: | The model you're looking at is not a USB PD charger. It will charge the iPhone 11 fairly quickly but not at full speed. The item you'll want for the fastest optimal charge is an 18 watt USB PD charger and it's here on Amazon. AUKEY USB C PD Flush Fit Car Charger, 18W Power Delivery USB Car Charger Compatible with Google Pixel 3/2 / XL, iPhone 11/11 Pro Max/XS/MAX/XR/X and More. Tried to post the actual link for the product on Amazon, it was rejected as "objectionable"! Go figure. Good luck. |
Question: | What is the output amps |
Answer: | According to their website its about the same as most other chargers. "USB Output (Quick Charge 3.0): 3.6V-6.5V/3A | 6.5V-9V/2A | 9V-12V/1.5A" |
Question: | Does the car charger have a light that turns on when plugged into the socket |
Answer: | No, and I was concerned till I realized that as soon as it is connected to a phone, the phone vibrated once and the charging light on the phone illuminated, so you really do not miss a light on the charger itself. You get confirmation that the phone is charging from the phone itself. |
