Answer:	I can't guarantee that it will since I haven't tested one out yet but I don't know if you read my review but i used two plates within my case and two magnetic vent holders. I did this because the weight of my phone and magnetic grip was great for my iPhone 7 Plus in the apple leather case. Not because one wouldn't hold it but because i wanted that extra strong grip. I would recommend you doing the same even if your using the iPhone 7+ and the mophie charging case. (you didn't specify wich phone you had) Just because charging cases thicker than most common cases. I did test just 1 holder with my iPod touch in an otter box with the metal plate in between the 1st layer (soft rubber exterior) and 2nd layer (hard plastic) of the case and it worked really good. I am 99% confident that if you have the iPhone 7+ in a mophie case and use the two holder technique that I used it will hold it. Assemble the Car Mount

Step 1. Unscrew the knob;

Step 2. Pass the knob through the ball head;

Step 3. Tightly push the ball head into the socket of the cradle, then tighten the knob.

Silicone Pads for Extra Stability

After assembling the cradle and CD slot connector, attach the supplied silicone pads to the connector, which provide additional stability and prevent damage to the insides of the CD slot.
