Answer:	I ordered several of these and mine didn’t have any letters, Chinese or otherwise.

Answer:	They are pretty much the same but the leather tabs might need to be conditioned

Answer:	Yeah should fit just fine. My suggestion is to condition the leather very liberally, let it sit for an hour or so. Then buff it clean and your ready to sling up. Just remember it's old leather, so start off slow until the graines move into position.

Answer:	I got it to fit after about Three hours of filing. It's of decent quality. But is the effort worth it? I decided it wasn't and abandoned the effort. If I get a real beat up SKS I will go for it again

Answer:	I put one on mine. It fit pretty well. I did have to file it a little as you said. I'm happy with the way it looks and works.
