User questions & answers
Question: | does this requier a power cord or adapter and is it included |
Answer: | It comes with the USB dongle to sync with the controller. Only complaint is that that part is a bit bulky and sticks out the front quite a bit. Would be cool if they made a gray adapter that's a short stub like what's with other wireless controllers I've used. |
Question: | is this an appropriate gift for a 7 yr old |
Answer: | No it doesn’t feel the same, but it’s good enough. It took my aback at first glance, but play with it for a bit and you get use to it. |
Question: | Will this use the true blue sticks |
Answer: | Can confirm. I'm using it on a custom built retropie machine on a raspberry pi 3. Connection drops frequently enough though at just 6 feet away to make platforms not playable. |
Question: | Is this an original Sony product |
Answer: | Yes. It includes headband, neckband and earpiece. |

Question: | Does it work for Android phone, I would like to use Mic option and be able to Mute while on phone, can this device be used for these features |
Answer: | I assume it does... but I am totally deaf in my right ear, so I can't really say how the sound is when they are plugged into both ears. |

Sony Classical announces another ten releases in its popular series of Classical Masters. This new batch of budget-priced sets contains major recording projects by some of the 20th centurys most celebrated musicians. It was the Warner Brothers 1946 Bette Davis starrer Deception in particular, its score by Erich Wolfgang Korngold that originally aroused a passion for film music in the American conductor and producer Charles Gerhardt. Beginning his career in 1950 as a technician for RCA, where he came into contact with Toscanini, he went on to become a producer for Westminster before returning to RCA as a conductor, moving to Europe and making his name in the 1970s with the monumental series of recordings collected here for the first time: twelve discs of classic film scores, many of them Oscar winners or nominees, from Hollywoods golden age with Gerhardt at the helm of Londons elite recording ensemble, the National Philharmonic Orchestra. Besides Korngold (with selections from more than a dozen films including Deception, The Adventures of Robin Hood, The Prince and the Pauper, Of Human Bondage and The Sea Hawk), the featured composers include Dimitri Tiomkin (including a medley from Lost Horizon and The Big Sky), Max Steiner (Casablanca, The Big Sleep, Key Largo, Now, Voyager, King Kong, Jezebel and a whole disc devoted to Gone with the Wind), Alfred Newman (medley from The Song of Bernadette and The Robe), Franz Waxman (medleys from A Place in the Sun, Prince Valiant, Sunset Boulevard, The Philadelphia Story and Rebecca), Bernard Herrmann (Citizen Kane, Beneath the 12-Mile Reef and White Witch Doctor) and Miklós Rózsa (Double Indemnity, Spellbound, The Lost Weekend, Ivanhoe and The Red House). Charles Gerhardt and his handpicked London orchestra are really doing lovers of American film music a great service, wrote Gramophones enthusiastic reviewer.

User questions & answers
Question: | Hi, again. Is this the same with following product or different? I am confused. Thanks in advance. http://www.amazon.com/Sony-CFDS50-Portable-Cassette |
Answer: | The same product. |
Question: | This says 30 radio station presets. it said that too on another sony model i ordered, but it really only had 3 presets. how many on this model |
Answer: | You can store 30 stations but you can only get to 3 of them using the 3 buttons. For the other stations you have to code in the number you set for that station to listen to it. I don't have more then 3 preset so never tried that part of the system. |
Question: | Says it's portable but does it have a carrying handle |
Answer: | I returned that particular player because I thought it was not the standard of quality it should have been. I have a Sony now that I bought elsewhere and it does not have a handle. |
Question: | Can any one tell me the model number of this |
Answer: | CFD S50 |

Five Stars!
The idea for #RateASpecies came to me while I was shopping for hiking boots. The first review that caught my eye read “waterproof, great for winter, only comes in brown.” It was basically a description of my favorite Oregon Zoo resident, a rescued sea otter pup named Lincoln. From there, the tweets started writing themselves.
But it was the collective wit of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums that set the hashtag aflame. Other conservation organizations and wildlife aficionados joined in to rate their favorite species, and the result was an outpouring of animal therapy from every corner of Twitter.
Every living thing on Earth has followed an epic evolutionary path to reach its current form: a high-definition masterpiece of nature. That they also evolved to bring us joy was a happy accident. The good news is that these durable, premium-quality species will continue to delight us for many years to come—if we care enough to make room for them.
