| Answer: | Definitely yes, I have a Polk RM6750 subwoofer and 2 of this speakers with the matching center and they sound clear as water. Besides you can always lower your subs volume if its too much. Also remember the power your amp have is important, I'm using a Sony STR-DE335 amplifier which sends 100 watts per channel at 6 ohms and nothing has gone wrong yet. So far I have played music, movies and the morning news and I'm always happy about the clarity and loudness on only a 3.1 system. My guess is yours is going to sound much better with the 5.2 you are building. Nice pick and good luck with your shopping. |

This Acoustic Audio Bluetooth 5.1 System features a contemporary design and is a stylish addition to any home. This 800 watt, 6-piece system includes one powered subwoofer and five satellite speakers as well as cables and instructions needed to "Plug and Play" any audio source with a RCA audio output or use the front panel USB interface or SD/MMC card input. Use it for your home theater system, personal computer or laptop, gaming system, cell phone, MP3 player or any other audio devices with 3.5mm headphone output. The powered subwoofer features independent speaker controls as well as bass, treble and volume functions. It utilizes a digitally tuned wooden enclosure for increased bass response. | Answer: | you cannot hook this system to a receiver. there is already a receiver built in. |

| Answer: | No amp needed, the sub powers the speakers. However, I would recommend the Logitech z506 instead. I have both and I regret purchasing the acoustic audio speakers. Logitechs are better sounding, louder, more durable, and easier to set up. |

| Answer: | It goes up to 30 but it's a good volume not too loud but decent. I purchased it for my 10 year old and he absolutely loves it. |

| Answer: | I don't see a problem with that at all. They are super light. I got this for my husband for Christmas last year and was a little nervous as it was such a great price. Wondered if it would be good product. He is a big music/movie buff and it's "all about the sound". He is thrilled with this unit. I can look later when I am at home and see about the back of the smaller speakers. I am not sure if it's a smooth surface or there is a lip or hole for mounting. |
