Answer:	Being it a meter and all its doing is reading volts it's not passing current so put an eyelet on the meter leads and hok one to the red battery terminal going to the load and one to the negative terminal going to the load (whatever you are powering up) as well. Make sure the connections are clean if possible apply no-nox or de-nox to the terminals which completely eliminates any corrion for many years also make your leads no longer then necessary whenever possible. Minimum gage wire up to 8ft. in length and good for up to 300 amps should be no less then 1/0 Gauge (AWG) Same applies from battery to battery to get to 48 volts.

The EKM-15E is a very compact, but accurate little meter that is ideal for metering individual circuits or groups of circuits. Multiple wires can be passed through the CT and current passing through them is totaled. Convenient DIN-rail mounts.
