Question:	Is there a way to "clip" this onto the guitar like a traditional capo
Answer:	if you mean to clip it onto the guitar when not really using it as a capo, ie. storing it for use later, then no. relative to a traditional jaw like capo, this is a slow install and removal and really no way to hook it onto another part of the guitar other than when it is installed on the neck.
Question:	Could this work for a telecaster with a 7.25 neck
Answer:	Yes. The metal bar is pretty much straight, but the plastic cover will conform to the fretboard. I have 2 Strats and 1 Tele...all vintage spec'd necks with 7.25 necks and this is the capo I use on them. I have a Schrubb capo designed for the 7.25 radius and I prefer the Hamilton. In my opinion I find the design of this capo is better because the pressure applied to the strings is equal across the fretboard. To my ears, clip-on capos and the Schrubb apply slight more pressure one side. Others may disagree, but I've found I have to tweak the tuning far less when I move the Hamilton capo around when compared to clip on designs. They are slower to adjust, in my opinion that's their only drawback.

Answer:	This capo is FLAT, not CURVED. If the electric guitar doesn't have a flat fretboard, this capo don't works, but there are others who adapt well.

Answer:	Not really sure, it works on a full sized acoustic guitar, the neck on a mandolin is much smaller so I doubt it’d fit. But....it is awesome so are the picks.

Answer:	I've only had the unit for a few months and so far, it hasn't seemed to loosen. The unit doesn't clamp quite as well as my kyser and works better over the lighter gauge (elec.) strings. I've mostly stopped using picks, but I really like the wooden picks for their grip and the tones when I do use them.

Answer:	Hi Im an acoustic guitar tech and touring musician. I don't completely understand the question,since the tuning is based on the guitar strings be set to "drop D" nothing to do with the capo.If you set your guitar to lowering the E string to a D( which is drop D) putting the capo on the 2nd fret will give you the same effect but just on a higher pitch.It would then be drop E tuning,fourth fret drop F tuning etc...the capo is great and can handle any tuning to set the guitar at.If you want a drop D tuning( in actual pitch if D while using a capo,youd have to tune down the guitar a whole step then lower the D 6th string to a C and put the capo on the second fret..Hope this wasnt to complicated.Short answer: Yes Good luck

Answer:	Don't know what 12 string guitars the other answers refer to but I play almost exclusively twelve string acoustics, and this works for me at least up to the 7th fret (that's as high as I use it). As someone else says, it's 2.25" wide, so that is the limiting factor. Sure, as with all capo's on 12 strings, you need to have enough tension to pull down the big fat low E far enough that the octave string next to it is also pulled down, which does result in excessive bending of the low E. But at least with this capo you can dial that in. I've always used a fixed tension capo in the past that presses far too hard on the strings and pulls the strings too far out of tune. This capo is much, much better!

Answer:	Shubb "S1" one size of the "Deluxe" model and is suitable for steel string guitars, including electric guitars, with necks of standard width. If you have an extra-wide neck or want to use it at a point on the neck that is more than 2" in width, the "S3" is recommended. It should be noted that both of these are made in the USA. The nickel-plated models are called Shubb "Standard" and the corresponding sizes are "C1n" and "C3n." The nickel-plated models, however, are made in China. I purchased a stainless steel Shubb "Deluxe," the "S3" model, and am very pleased with the quality. Answer:	I am not sure about the question but generally the tuning for drop d (DADGBE) is as follows:1. Tune your guitar in standard tuning.2. Play the 4th (D string) and 6th string together and turn the tuning key of the E string down (counter clockwise) until you are 1 step lower. It's important to go a bit below the pitch and tune up to match the 4th string (1 octave difference) to prevents the string from slipping out of tune.3.
