Answer:	The mounting bracket is two pieces that wrap around the handle bars with two screws. One of the pieces is already attached to the bell itself.

Answer:	Yes it is, is a nice bell, and easy to used for a child...has the classic sound.
Question:	does this fit on 1 inch handle bars
Answer:	Yes. The short answer. Long answer, the term 1 inch bars is elusive, I think what are called one inch bars are 1 inch at the stem, but 7/8 inch diameter on the rest of the bar, and that is what I have this bell mounted on, it is at the low limit, meaning it will accomodate a larger diameter easily, as the metal bracket is completely closed, with lots of room on the screws for a larger bar. Anything less than 7/8 inch might mean adding another layer of rubber or something to allow it to tighten, such as a child's tricycle or small bike, but it looks to me like the thing would fit any bars I have seen on a full size bike.
