Answer:	Our shelves were so long we did not need to secure them. Because the cost of the brackets were so low, we were able to afford 2 x 10's which looks more solid and works fine with only gravity. But we did buy pipe hangers for just in case which we did not need to use. They are U-shaped metal pcs with flat flanges on either end with holes for screws. Our top shelf is 2 pcs.18 feet long together, but over 8' high, so we're adding a steel bracket on top to secure them together. But again, gravity works for the most part. The vendor is wonderful and accommodating, and will answer any questions most likely within an hour or so from when you email him. I can't tell you how much we LOVE our full wall library.

Answer:	In theory the cover (for the round cushion, not the mat) is washable, but it's not very practical in that regard. Beneath the handle is a small zippered hole. In order to empty and wash the cushion, you'd have to pour out all the loose buckwheat filling, wash and dry the cushion and then pour it all back in the small hole. Is it possible? Yes. Is it designed to be washed separately? I'd say no, it has a hole to add or remove some filling. Hope that helps.

However, given that there is no outer or extra/2nd case and latex shreds get everywhere when you open the case (I tried to take some out to make it less firm) you would have to wash it with the shreds inside. or get an extra case you can put over to protect the original casing and then wash that one. It is not a solid latex piece/pillow that you could take out of the case.

Answer:	Yes you can. Make sure phantom power is turned off in your Apogee Maestro software before you plug in the mic.

Answer:	I don't know specifically about headset cables, but we have found these cables to be durable and of good quality.

Answer:	I can't see an AWG reference on my mic cables - but there is a reference on the page that says "High Grade 21g Dual Copper Conductors & Shield". I'm assuming the 21g is 21awg which is slightly larger than 22awg - which is a lower resistance (better) conductor. These mic cables will work great for whatever mic you're using. I've bought 10 of them and have been using them for over 3 years in a professional and home recording setting and have not had one fail. I cannot say that for other brands I have bought. They have been stepped on repeatedly (not recommended for any cable) had beer and other drinks spilled on them and have never failed me. They all still work great and the soft rubber sheathing is still easy to handle and coil.

Answer:	They are chrome. As far as being rustproof, it's hard to say as I have only had the clamp for 2 months. It's a solid clamp. Only weakness I have encountered is the rubber pads don't stay in place of you mount your camera in a semi-permanent situation. I have mine mounted to a pic frame over a desk for video, and the clamp rolled down overnight and had to be repositioned the next day. I have since removed to pass completely and it stays in place just fine. It's perfect otherwise. Very happy with my purchase. Hope that helps...
