Answer:	No you can not! I learned the hard way by doing so. I had a bad cold and I put some Eucalyptus oil in the water tank with the water. 1.New machine beeps. Firstly,plz check the water you use,no distilled water,only tap water,because the sensor inside the machine can not feel the PH value of the distilled water,it will beep.Then check the water level,not too much or too little.

2.Beeps as the water is boiling. This is because too much hot water or too many bubbles reach the highest water level,the steamer open automatic protection to avoid the hot water spill out to burn skin.Plz change new water,or drain some water.

3.Beeps after some times use The water in the cup not very clean,it will create many bubbles,or it is not clean at the highest level,the sensor supposed that there is too much water,it will beep. Please clean the beaker timely.

Answer:	Yes at least I’m not alone So I couldn’t work out how to discharge the water from the bottle ?????? After weeks the water went brown then solid in places inside the bottle ,,,,I got upset and my childike spirit got upset it couldn’t play with the toy anymore so I pulled the spout where the steam travels to release and guess what??? 😂😂😂 it disconnected,, THATS right just snap off the longs plastic tube where the steam travels then you can throw out anything in the bottle ,,, I proceeded with plain water to rinse out the bottle keeping the base out of the water,,,, then put disinfectant mixed with subtle bleach water got cloudy So I rinsed it around a few times poured that out ,, Thinking of damaging the fabric of the bottle or compromising any of the tubing inside I gently ,repeated that action under running water keeping the base dry then I poured plain water and a touch of bleach half a lid in the water set the steamer and that cleaned and steamed the inner tube,,, then one more time for hygiene sake .. rinse a few times till waters crystal clear now your good to go,, Hope that helped ,,,
