Answer:	The Schrade old timer sharp finger is made in CHINA. Taylor Brand LLC. based in Tennessee bought the Schrade name and distributes Schrade here in he U.S. This is a substantial tool and does a great job as a skinner as well as other camp duties.The Chinese have been forging metals for 4000 years. Answer:	I'm not for sure how thick the blade is but I am 58 y/o and I have been using the same knife since I was 15 y/o. It is the perfect size for skinning animals as well as fish. Also it holds a good edge if you use a wet stone. I bought this knife for my grandson and I hope he finds it as good as I have over the years.

Question:	What kind of batteries
Answer:	Looking on a google search it appears Schrade has a limits lifetime warranty that covers materials or manufacturers defects. They will not cover damage from misuse or abuse.
Question:	Does it stay open on its own
Answer:	I have the 37, and the handles are nice. Not hard to hang on to, bare handed or with decent gloves. I was impressed with it, especially for the price. The sheath is not great, and I personally would have preferred kydex, but it stays in my pack mostly anyway, so not a deal breaker. It is a nice heavy blade, and a good chopper.
Question:	Does this mirror have a quality sharp image (not distorted)? thank you
Answer:	I am not currently aware of a leather sheath that will fit the schf37. However, I have had no problems with the supplied sheath thus far. This combo is holding up very well.

Answer:	Hello Pedro, This knife was machined from one solid piece of metal(that means the handle and blade is one piece of metal) and the handle was hollowed out to make it lighter.It is actually stronger than any other type of knife design.There is a famous knife maker named Chris Reeves and he was the first one to use a solid billet of steel and machine a fully functional knife.You have to also remember this knife is a dagger and is designed to be a stabbing weapon not a survival knife.I have no doubt it will excel at stabbing.Also most states have made daggers illegal to carry on your person however it is not illegal to have it in your home.You have to check your state and local laws concerning this particular weapon.I hope the information I gave you will be helpful in making your decision to purchase this knife.

Answer:	I thought the sheath was adequate .. I feel the blade is stout and strong! The blade coating will eventually start to peel/ dropping the attractiveness of the blade. But I've beaten the hell out of mine and feel it's a reliable piece of steel.. The never version schf51 has a better coating.. Over all I would trust the blade deep in the woods some where.. For the price, solid blade!
