Answer:	Anyone actually use a tape measure? The center of the drawer is raised from the sides. If you measure from the very edge its just shy of 3" deep. If you measure from the center its 2 3/4" deep. So unless the child was very young... I would say no. But given shoes are worn outside. You don't know what your stepping into thats unseen... I wouldn't store shoes with clothing. Just my 2 cents.

Answer:	The dimensions of the cover is 35 x 79 x 37 inches so other than the five inches in height it will work. I can tell you if you are in a windy area, I live on a lake and the wind can be strong at times, one of the ties ripped off and had to work something else out to tie it down on one corner.
