Answer:	Per the instructions: trim the wick to 1/4" before use. Keep the wick trimmed to 1/4″. Failure to maintain the wick will result in the candle smoking and/or problematic burning.
Question:	Bee was candles should burn slowly. Your customers in the reviews complain that this candle burn fast. Why do they burn fast
Answer:	They burn too fast because directions aren't followed. Directions for maximum burn time and candle care are easy: keep the wick trimmed to 1/4", keep the candle out of drafts, do not burn pillars in a hurricane glass.
Question:	Why can you not use in a hurricane container
Answer:	Our beeswax pillar candles are not recommended for use in a hurricane glass or other tightly fitting containers. Beeswax has a high melting point and burns at a hotter temperature than other waxes; using a hurricane container creates a convection effect by both disturbing the air flow around the candle (causing smoking wicks that burn too fast) and retaining extra heat inside the glass (causes dripping and eventually the pillar walls to collapse).

100% USA Pure Beeswax

We use only clean, lightly filtered, 100% pure beeswax from beeswax cappings in our beeswax candles, with no fillers or additives. It's non-toxic properties make it perfect for a clean burning and bright fuel source as a beeswax candle.

Unlike most manufactured paraffin candles, beeswax is hypo-allergenic, great for people with allergies or other sensitivities, and those of us who want a clean burning candle in our homes.

Hand Poured

We pour each beeswax pillar candle by hand. It takes an experienced hand to ensure each candle is crafted correctly - we don't want any air bubbles, crooked wicks, or other imperfections. Each candle is inspected to ensure it's quality.

We have no "factory second" beeswax candles; if the candle doesn't make the grade, it goes right back into the wax melter.

Natural Honey Scent & Color

Our beeswax comes direct from beekeepers in the northern US where the honey bees fly among raspberries, canola, clover, and wildflowers. The resulting wax is a beautiful shade of yellow that has an aromatic honey fragrance. We simply reshape the bees' creation; the color and the scent are made by the hardworking bees.

We do not add anything to our beeswax and only filter out the large particles that could interfere with the flame.

Smoke & Soot Free

Using beeswax candles is an excellent way to keep your home free of the smoke and soot that is a common result of burning paraffin candles.

When burned in a draft free environment with the wick trimmed to 1/4" a beeswax candle will burn bright and clean with virtually no smoke or soot.

Safety & Burning Tips

Pillars may be burned free standing on a level and solid heat resistance surface. However, we recommend using a pillar plate or pillar holder when burning solid and honeycomb beeswax pillar candles to keep your surfaces free of any accidentally spilled wax or problems due to the heat of the candle.

Hug Your Beeswax Candles

Occasionally it is necessary to gently press the edges of the candle towards the center of the candle to ensure that all of the beeswax burns properly. Do this carefully as your candle is burning or immediately after extinguishing it.

Burn Pillars for Extended Periods of Time

Burn pillars roughly 1 hour per inch in diameter (e.g. 3″ pillars should be burned for at least 3 hours per session.) Burning for extend time ensures that the wick burns the candle evenly out to the edge. This also helps to avoid tunneling and relighting issues.
